Hilary Yancey has an amazing way with words. Even though the last few years have been tough for Hilary and her husband, Preston, she has found beauty in the life they live with their son, Jack, and their daughter, Junia.

While Hilary was pregnant with Jack, they found out he would have craniofacial microsomia, and spent the next few months preparing for his birth and the care he would need. Hilary was (and is) a graduate student pursuing her Ph.D in philosophy, and has somehow found time to write a book entitled “Forgiving God.” In this episode, Hilary shares about her experience with the NICU, what she hopes for when she shares the behind-the-scenes of her daily life, how she and her husband find time for one another, and so much more.

I’m grateful for this conversation with Hilary, where she shared honestly about the beauty and challenges in motherhood, the pressures mom face, and her own personal goals and dreams.
