My Favorite Planners!

I don’t know about you, but if I don’t write something down on a to-do list or add it to my calendar, it doesn’t happen! After several years of trying out various planners, I thought I’d share what has worked for me over the last couple of years. I’m always on the search for another good option, so please let me know what your favorites planners are!

After a couple of years at my job, I realized I needed a planner that would support ALL the things: my work to-dos, my home to-dos, my kids’ busy social lives (seriously..!), and more! I typically keep my work appointments on my work calendar online (associated with my email address), so I knew I didn’t need a true appointment book with the hourly appointment times.

At the end of 2017, I found Plum Paper planners. I realized I could customize one and fell in love! So, for 2018, I used a customized Plum Paper planner and found it to be incredibly practical. I was able to keep an ongoing to-do list each week for both home and work, set and track monthly goals, keep track of important dates, and for the most part actually stay on top of a lot of (but not all!) things.

For 2019, I’m going to try something different – I’ve purchased a Gallery Leather Cambridge planner from Barnes & Noble. I love that it has a slimmer profile than the Plum Paper planner I used this year, and has a large space for tracking to-do’s each week – an entire page for each week is dedicated to your lists and notes. I’ll have to report back on how it holds up for me (both physically and practically), but after using it for a month or so already, so far I really like it.

I’d love to hear from you with your planner suggestions, and let me know if I can answer any questions about my Plum Paper or Gallery Leather planners!
