Lauren Widrick runs a performance coaching business – on top of raising 2 daughters with her husband in the suburbs of Charlotte, NC.

After college, Lauren moved up the leadership ranks at a large bank during the financial crisis a decade ago. But she eventually felt “lost,” as though her career was great on paper but her passion was gone.

She was then introduced to a life coach and felt like it might be a “thing” but was skeptical about it. After some research and reflection, she took the world’s most rigorous coach training program (a year of training) with 12 trips to NYC.

In this episode, Lauren shared some of her core principles she teaches to clients, and answered our Influential Motherhood instagram community’s top questions about women in leadership:

– How women in the workplace are an advantage rather than a disadvantage

– Using an enrollment strategy with managers

– Finding your confidence

– Whether to show or hide emotions

– How to handle the day-to-day “chaos” that comes along with being a working mom

– Tips for asking for a raise
