As executive editor of Good Housekeeping magazine, mom of three Meaghan Murphy has tons of tips for women to manage their home, their work, and their family. In this episode, we talk about the importance of highlighting the positive in life and how she is intentional about finding the ‘yay’ in every day. We also discussed the professional mentor who showed Meaghan  how to balance work and motherhood, where the magazine industry is headed in this age of technology, and the two things every mom needs in her home.

I try to create some of those really special moments. I try to burn in their brain one or two really epic things which will stand out in reflection.

Meaghan shared her tips for finding time to make lasting memories with your kids, when time is limited thanks to work and school schedules. She says this has been especially important as her kids have gotten older and she’s been able to teach her children (and their friends!) about her job at Good Housekeeping.
