Monique Melton has answered a call to educate white women on issues around race, diversity, equity, and inclusion. As a mom of two and wife to her high school sweetheart, Monique has been able to build a business where she works with individuals on relationship coaching and diversity education.

In this episode, Monique and I talked about how prioritizing relationships is essential for all relationships, not only your relationship with your spouse or significant other. It’s important to prioritize relationships with God, family, and friends, and she shares her ideas on how busy women can prioritize their important relationships.

Monique and I also talked about why educating our children about race is important, and what misconceptions many parents have about when and how to discuss race and diversity with our children.

This is an incredibly important episode, and I hope you will learn from Monique’s knowledge and experience, as I did during our conversation. I’m signing up for her Diversity mastermind course so I can be better prepared to educate my friends, family, colleagues, and children about issues regarding racial unity.
